800 E 28th St, Minneapolis, MN 55407 Primary Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients in person. Collect demographic and insurance information. Check in and interview patients to complete necessary paperwork. Direct patients to their appointments or procedures. May assist in scheduling additional appointments. Document any issues and resolutions in electronic medical records. Resolve claims issues or registration errors on patient accounts. Utilize resources and tools to complete patient registrations. Verify insurance eligibility and interpret complex billing situations. Provide cost information and assist patients with financial inquiries. Collect co-pays or deductibles and explain available financial assistance programs. Screen and approve patients for financial assistance. Guide patients through the application process for assistance programs. Offer technical direction to fellow staff members. Assist patients in completing information request forms. Obtain signatures from patients as necessary. Gather medical record information across departments. Provide customer service for inbound and outbound calls. May mentor other staff as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. You will be rewarded for your performance in a challenging yet supportive environment that provides tools for your success and development for future roles. Required Qualifications: 6+ months of customer service experience in an office or hospital setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work standard daytime hours, Monday-Friday for the first 3 weeks after hire for training. Willingness to work on a Per Diem basis during various shifts, including weekends. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in revenue cycle management. General office experience. Familiarity with Epic software. Physical Demands: Regularly walking, standing, bending, and turning. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally and up to 2-5 lbs frequently. *NOTE*

Pay varies based on factors like local labor markets, education, and experience.
