Patient Services Representative , you will be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, providing logistical support and a compassionate presence to those in need. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on individuals and families within your community, helping them navigate the health services they deserve. Primary Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients in person, ensuring a friendly introduction while guiding them to their appointments. Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and benefits information, interpreting necessary results and obtaining signatures. Check in and interview patients to complete required paperwork, including financial assistance applications. Provide cost information to patients, collect co-pays and deductibles, and offer guidance on financial assistance programs. Address and resolve claim issues or registration errors, diligently documenting actions in the electronic medical record. Utilize resources, tools, and procedures for efficient registration and management of assigned work queues. Deliver exceptional customer service for inbound and outbound calls, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of inquiries. Assist in scheduling add-on appointments as needed. May mentor staff and provide technical direction, and gather medical record information as required. Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility in response to the dynamic healthcare environment. Required Qualifications: 6+ months of experience in customer service. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Availability to work standard daytime hours, Mon-Fri for the first 3 weeks after hire, aligned with the training schedule. Willingness to work on a Per Diem basis with at least 1 shift per week starting at 6:30am, 7:00am & 9:00am based on business needs. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Revenue Cycle. General office experience. Familiarity with Epic systems. Physical Demands: Consistent walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 10 lbs. Frequent lifting of 2-5 lbs. Note:
