Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist - Therma. Location: San Jose, CA. Duration: 3-6 months. In-office, temporary, full-time position.

Responsibilities Therma is seeking a detail-oriented individual who possesses the ability to multi-task to provide support regarding daily bank reconciliations, deposits, completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Perform daily check deposits via remote banking system.
Perform daily application of payment to customer accounts.
Maintain monthly AR account reconciliation.
Sales Tax and Payroll Tax.
Perform accounting duties related to month end close.
Work with a team to process payroll for 1000+ employees on a weekly basis.
Receive, codes, and process vendor invoices; maintain packing/receiving slips and matches to invoices.
On a weekly basis, review invoices scheduled for payment and special check requests with AP/Payroll Manager.
Reconcile monthly vendor statements to the general ledger and accounting system.
Maintain monthly recurring invoices and payments.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an accounts payable/accounts receivable.
Construction experience preferred.
Well-developed financial analysis capabilities to support reporting and company objectives.
Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong time management, organizational skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; ability to adapt to change.
Proven ability to deliver quality results in high-stress situations.
Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
Problem solver with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with HP 3000, IFS or OneStream a plus.
Positive attitude, good judgment and strong sense of ownership.
