Property Manager, Commercial Offices

is a leadership role responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of commercial properties. Synergy is a Boston-based commercial real estate firm experiencing rapid growth and expanding its property management team. The successful candidate will be organized, professional, able to multi-task, communicate effectively, and implement a property operations plan. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in leading through best practices, meeting operational and financial objectives, and managing first-class relationships, with 3-5 years of property management experience. Position reports to the Vice President, Property Management. Responsibilities
Provide overall property management leadership through policy and program development, information flow coordination, and marketing of property management strategy. Manage all aspects of day-to-day operation of assigned properties. Interact with tenants to proactively respond to needs, focus on relationship development, and maintain high tenant retention. Handle fiscal administration: prepare annual operating budgets, capital planning, monthly/quarterly financial reporting, CAM and real estate tax reconciliation, oversee collections, and manage income/expenses to align with NOI goals. Engage contractors and in-house Engineering to service properties according to lease requirements and company standards. Coordinate and supervise tenant improvements and other capital projects as assigned. Monitor and enforce tenant lease obligations. Assist with portfolio-wide initiatives, asset transitions, projects, and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with in-house policies, building codes, and regulations. Oversee Emergency Response Planning execution. Perform regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance projects as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to a four-year college program. Minimum of 3+ years of progressively responsible commercial office property management experience. Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and basic knowledge of structural design concepts. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; excellent oral and written communications, including presentations. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; highly professional and service-oriented. Solid financial analysis and reporting capabilities. Proficient in MS Office and Yardi. Compensation and Benefits
