Overview
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role thrives on solving complex accounting challenges, improving processes, and growing within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you'll help ensure accurate financial reporting, support cross-functional teams, and implement best practices that drive the company's financial objectives forward. You'll take ownership of critical reporting activities, partner with teams across the business, and contribute to continuous improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

3 days in the office, 2 days work from home What You’ll Do
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Own portions of the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Deliver timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior leadership and external stakeholders. Collaborate with finance, treasury, tax, and legal teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for business activities. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve reporting efficiency. Support and mentor team members by assisting with complex entries and knowledge sharing. Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and other strategic initiatives. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred). 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience; real estate management or Big 4 public accounting background is a plus. Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas); experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Yardi, or similar. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
