Overview

Director of Enterprise Applications leads the strategy, development, integration, and support of the university’s administrative and mission-critical systems. While currently supporting a PeopleSoft ERP environment, this ERP-agnostic role will focus on leading and executing ERP migrations in the future, modernizing legacy systems, and ensuring smooth transitions across platforms. The director manages a team of developers and database administrators and oversees a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications and integrations including Slate, TouchNet, Adaptive, Parchment, and many others. This role covers the full lifecycle management of ERP environments (DEV, TEST/UAT, and PROD) with responsibilities such as environment refreshes, release coordination, and supporting robust testing and validation processes to ensure stable and accurate deployments. The director ensures system security, compliance, upgrades, and reliability while advancing initiatives in data integrity, analytics, and enterprise reporting. With strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and analytics, the director drives the evolution of the university’s data infrastructure to support institutional decision-making. Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of enterprise application initiatives aligned with institutional goals. Serve as primary liaison for administrative systems strategy across departments. Develop and enforce standards for application lifecycle management and integrations. Ensure systems scalability, reliability, and user-centered design. Oversee configuration and support of ERP modules (e.g., PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Financials) and upgrades, patches, and customizations. Coordinate secure integrations with third-party systems (Paycom, Slate, Touchnet, Adaptive, Parchment, and others) and support interoperability through APIs and interfaces. Supervise programmers and database administrators; provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback; ensure cross-training and documentation; manage project workload and resource allocations. Lead data governance efforts and establish data quality standards; support data analytics and enterprise reporting. Design and deliver a comprehensive user training program to promote ERP adoption. Coordinate incident response and post-incident analysis for cybersecurity events and outages. Evaluate emerging tools and lead special projects involving automation, cloud adoption, or new software rollouts. Qualifications

Strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and analytics. Experience with ERP systems, particularly PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Financials. Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional collaboration across departments. Ability to manage security, compliance, and testing procedures.
