We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Engineer with strong experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing IT operations tools. This role will be responsible for ensuring that critical systems such as RMMs, LogicMonitor, Delinea (formerly Thycotic), ITGlue, and other core platforms are deployed, integrated, and maintained for peak performance and security. You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering, and service teams to enhance automation, visibility, and service delivery across our client environments.
Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and optimize endpoint and infrastructure management tools, including: RMM
(RMM/patching/automation) LogicMonitor
(monitoring and alerting) Delinea/Thycotic
(privileged access and secrets management) ITGlue
(documentation management) Additional tools such as N-able, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or others as applicable Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates to improve operational efficiency. Integrate toolsets with ServiceNow and other systems to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention. Monitor system performance, availability, and compliance using dashboards and custom reporting. Ensure timely deployment of patches, updates, and configuration changes across multiple client environments. Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to enforce best practices in security configuration and access control. Act as a SME and escalation point for tooling-related issues. Provide input on tooling strategy and vendor evaluations as part of the IT architecture team. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or IT operations. Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following: RMM, LogicMonitor, Delinea, ITGlue. Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, workstations, networking, and security. Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow. Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize across multiple projects and tasks.
