Overview

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – The BridgeWay, North Little Rock, AR. The BridgeWay is a 127-bed facility offering inpatient and outpatient programs for children, adolescents and adults with behavioral, emotional, or addictive conditions. The CEO provides strategic leadership, directs day-to-day operations, develops staff, ensures high-quality care, maintains sound fiscal operations, sustains a strong referral base, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations. Responsibilities

Accountable for creating an environment and culture aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values. Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments (e.g., Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs) to drive patient care outcomes. Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory guidelines. Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialties; coordinate medical staff participation in new ventures; develop new areas of medical care offered at the hospital. Supervise development of outpatient and ambulatory programs; build positive relationships with local industry, government, healthcare providers, and the public. Submit timely month-end financial and operational reviews; participate in corporate-wide strategic planning. Communicate operational circumstances and events to supervisors and relevant stakeholders. Achieve budgeted financial objectives and manage contract negotiations and payer relationships. Increase revenues, manage costs, control bad debt, and improve margins across staffing, supplies, and services. Focus on census-building and strategic planning. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Experience as a behavioral health executive (e.g., CEO at a behavioral health facility) or as a director of a large acute-care facility with a large multi-unit psychiatry department. Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management. Strong operations and financial management skills; marketing experience is a plus. Ability to travel at least 10% of the time. Benefits
