The BridgeWay is seeking a dynamic
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
with a proven track record in a for-profit Behavioral Health hospital/residential program or who has managed a large Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department within a large acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will direct day-to-day operations, manage and develop staff, ensure high-quality care, maintain sound fiscal operations, sustain a strong referral base, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations while continually monitoring the facility’s services and delivery systems.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Accountable for creating an environment and culture that fulfills the organization’s mission, vision and values.
Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments including Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services and Regulatory Affairs to drive patient care outcomes.
Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures, and develop new areas of medical care to offer at the hospital.
Develop outpatient care and ambulatory programs; build positive relationships with local industry, government, healthcare providers and the public.
Ensure timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews; participate in strategic planning at corporate and facility levels.
Communicate operations status to supervisors and relevant stakeholders to keep all apprised.
Achieve budgeted financial objectives.
Manage contract negotiations and compliance with the commercial payor community.
Increase revenues, manage costs, and optimize margins in staffing, supplies and services.
Focus on census-building and strategic planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience as a behavioral executive (CEO) at a Behavioral Health facility or as a Director of a large acute care facility with a multi-unit psychiatric department.
Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
Operations and financial management and marketing knowledge.
Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
