Overview The Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant will manage revenue related general ledger, revenue recognition, close processes, financial reporting duties, system implementations, and revenue operations. A qualified candidate will be detail oriented, deadline driven, have a strong understanding of US GAAP, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and be able to thrive in a collaborative environment. The position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Recognition. Opportunity to work remotely is available.

What You'll Do

Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and data verification.

Review revenue contracts for compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

Manage revenue and third-party expense schedules while supporting timely financial close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

Assist with financial and SOX audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Participate in process improvement projects and contribute to the implementation of the Revenue Engine system.

Collaborate with management on special projects, ad-hoc requests, and other assigned tasks.

This role requires

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

4+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures, with a focus on ASC 606.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and streamline workflows.

Bonus points if you have

CPA license.

Experience in a publicly-traded, high-tech, or high-growth company.

Big 4 accounting firm experience.

SaaS industry experience.

Familiarity with systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zuora.

Compensation Estimated Base Pay Range $99,000—$124,000 USD

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
