Communications Specialist

to join our Miami team. This role will be instrumental in delivering exceptional brand experiences through the planning, coordination, and execution of events across the Americas region.

Reports to:

Head of Communications, Americas. Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including retailer activations, corporate gatherings, and large-scale brand experiences. Manage event logistics, including vendor selection, and contracts. Coordinate with agencies, venues, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution and elevated brand representation. Develop timelines, run-of-show, and production schedules to ensure deadlines are met. On-Site Execution Oversee event setup, coordination, and breakdown, ensuring alignment with DG standards. Serve as on-site contact for vendors, staff, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Manage guest experience, from invitation process through post-event follow-up. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure events support business objectives and brand priorities. Work closely with the Head of Communications to align local events with regional and global strategies. Support distributor partners in event coordination when applicable. Post-Event Reporting Assist in preparing post-event recaps, including budgets, attendance, learnings, and overall impact analysis. Provide recommendations to optimize future event planning and execution. General Support & Administration Assist with budget tracking, vendor payments, and invoice processing for event-related expenses. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand guidelines. Requirements

3–5 years of experience in luxury fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands, with strong expertise in event planning and execution. Proven ability to manage logistics, and vendor relationships. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management tools is a plus. Deep understanding of market trends, and consumer expectations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bilingual – English and Spanish proficiency required. Availability to travel up to 30%. Employment details
