Oliver Wyman is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Health Actuarial Practices in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring presence in the office three days per week. About the Role
The Actuarial Practice of Oliver Wyman advises clients on risk management and financial judgment related to healthcare, life and annuity, and property and casualty. Practitioners use mathematical and statistical modeling, qualitative assessment methodologies, and industry knowledge to deliver independent, objective advice. Key Responsibilities
Practice/Project Support: organize events, assist with agenda setting, coordinate materials, take meeting minutes, support kickoff and project meetings, and manage internal communications; serve as key contact for Partners, Finance and Legal on contracts and invoices; assist with document formatting and proposal handling; support onboarding/offboarding of Health staff; support Salesforce and revenue processes; assist with time tracking and quarterly reports; maintain practice documents and calendar; take notes for weekly all-staff calls; manage shared drives; maintain templates and trackers; gather information for newsletters; track key dates and deadlines; provide administrative support for internal initiatives. Business Development/Practice Client Development: act as point of contact for clients and Oliver Wyman departments; assist with client events in collaboration with Events, Marketing and Practice Partners; develop understanding of Practice products and services; align with Partners business goals; build rapport with client assistants; coordinate outreach and follow-ups; review marketing campaigns and client lists for business opportunities. Talent Management: liaise with talent managers on staffing; assist with onboarding of new Practice joiners. Support & Coverage: provide EA support to 1-2 Partners; manage Partner diaries; schedule internal/external meetings; coordinate travel and accommodations; become single point of contact for administrative needs; liaise with support departments; enter/manage contacts and opportunities in Salesforce; prepare timesheets and expense reports; provide coverage for EAs when needed; train new hires on calendars, travel, timesheets/expenses, and coverage. Experience Required: 5+ years as an Executive Assistant. Qualifications & Skills
Problem solver with strong service focus; excellent communication and networking skills; good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality; sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure; self-starter with the ability to manage a heavy workload and meet deadlines; highly organized with attention to detail; collaborative, flexible, and adaptable to change. Technical: strong Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; Salesforce knowledge is preferable. Compensation and Benefits
The applicable base salary range is $63,000 to $105,000. Base pay depends on experience and other factors; eligible for performance-based incentives.
