Xylem seeks to hire a Senior HR Business Partner who will be responsible for staffing management, employee relations, training and development, policy interpretation and compliance, benefits, compensation and labor relations for the site. This role will manage the implementation process and tracking of companywide programs. Assist in the development of strategies and initiatives to meet the business objectives. This role is full time on site. Responsibilities

Implement initiatives and programs and/or provide service in areas including labor relations, recruiting & staffing, employee relations, engagement & retention, performance management, employee development and training, organizational effectiveness, compensation, rewards and recognition, succession planning, health & welfare benefits, Affirmative Action/EEO compliance and completing personnel transactions. Participate as team member or leader for site and corporate HR projects & initiatives. Support/facilitate significant organizational change initiatives. Monitor and report on key HR metrics for assigned facilities. Serve as primary contact and resource for employees and managers to address HR issues, questions and concerns, building trust and credibility. Investigate and resolve employee conflicts and Ethics Hotline concerns; consult with internal and external legal counsel as applicable on employment matters. Facilitate the implementation and guidance of current performance management systems, including succession development plans and improvement plans for the facility. Manage individual and/or group meetings to train or onboard new employees and existing employees, facilitate exit interviews, and explain relevant compensation/benefit programs. Build productive relationships with key leaders within the facility. Conduct instructor-led training for employee and manager groups on topics including Code of Conduct, Performance Management, anti-harassment, etc. Improve manager and employee performance by identifying problems, interpreting policies, evaluating solutions, and coaching. Develop an understanding of the company's structure, operations, values and culture to support Xylem's vision and strategies; identify and develop process, policy and procedural improvements in alignment with laws. Responsible for all union-related functions at the facility, including labor agreement preparation, negotiations, contract interpretation and compliance, grievance procedures, and supervision training on labor agreements. Lead and/or assist with recruiting for the facility, including salaried and hourly workforce; assist and/or lead onboarding for new employees. Collaborate with site leadership to achieve business unit goals and provide support to HR corporate with reporting and initiatives. Work with the United Steelworkers Representative District 4 on labor relations matters, grievances, arbitrations, and negotiations. Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, preferably Human Resources. 7 to 10 years’ experience in human resource processes and initiatives. 2 to 4 years direct experience in Labor Relations with administration of a Union Labor agreement. Experience managing and implementing HR initiatives, Affirmative Action Plans, Policies and Procedures. Strong collaboration, consultative, presentation, and analytical skills. Strong organization and business communications skills (oral and written). Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; HRIS knowledge (Workday) is preferred. The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
