A startup media company is looking for an experienced
HR Generalist
to support its operations across the U.S. & Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, people-driven culture where your work will directly impact the employee experience and operational efficiency across teams.
Responsibilities
Employee Life-Cycle Operations : Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as coordinating smooth employee transitions (onboarding, job changes, offboarding, etc.) by preparing documentation and completing data entry into the company\'s HRIS systems in ways that ensure compliance with federal and local laws.
Employee Support : Provide frontline support to employees and managers on HR policies, employee questions, and workplace best practices.
Compensation & Benefits Support : Assist with salary benchmarking, benefit administration, and salary change tracking for US and LATAM countries.
Performance & Development : Support in the administration of company-wide performance review cycles and training initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation : Ensure HR files, contracts, and policies are accurate, updated, and aligned with federal and local laws.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with People Ops, Finance, and Legal teams on a range of projects and employee initiatives.
Qualifications / Who You Are
You bring
4+ years of HR experience , ideally in fast-paced or multinational environments.
You are
fluent in Spanish and English
(written and verbal) and comfortable working across cultures.
You’re organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Skilled at multitasking without letting important details fall through the cracks.
Collaborative team member who is always looking for ways to make things more efficient and cohesive within the team and company.
