$46,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars. Work with Human Resource Manager and DON when scheduling modified work duty employees in accordance with work restrictions and facility policy. Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units. Complete and post work sheets/time schedules. Perform miscellaneous duties pertaining to staffing and assist nursing supervisory personnel as necessary. Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions. Assist in obtaining nursing care staff information needed for daily posting requirements. Work with the nurse management team to coordinate work schedules, time off, and shift coverage. Ability to utilize the On-shift scheduling system. Communicate effectively with teams to assure a team-oriented environment. Manage the staffing schedule and maintain adequate staffing for each shift and monitor overtime utilization. Recruit staff members from job fairs, career days, nursing school, and other potential sources. Develop and implement local recruiting campaigns with the Administration Team. Assists with screening, interviewing, and orientation of qualified applicants. Assist with the tracking and communicating of compliance of required education, certifications, and specialized training. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Strong oral and written communication and teaching skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other facility staff. Qualifications

CNA certification preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a long-term care/skilled facility preferred. Prior scheduling experience preferred. Computer skills required. Knowledge of scheduling software is encouraged. Benefits
