Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Represent clients in various state and federal courts, as well as arbitration panels. Draft and review comprehensive pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents. Participate actively in pre-trial and trial preparations, including conducting depositions. Advocate effectively for clients during hearings and arbitration proceedings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in commercial litigation. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex business litigation matters, including financial services, trade secret disputes, and real estate litigation. Minimum Position Qualifications:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in Georgia. 2-3 years of substantive experience in commercial and business litigation. Proven capability in all phases of litigation, including pleadings and dispositive motions. Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cross-industry clientele including energy, healthcare, and technology. Demonstrable experience with trial and arbitration proceedings. History of successful motion practice and deposition experience. Skills:
Strong strategic thinking and legal analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities. Proficiency with legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis.
