Territory Manager - Payroll/ HCM
at Heartland. Our Territory Sales Manager position is the missing link for any sales company, but you can only find it at Heartland! Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth and bring in net new business with your own sales from prospects while recruiting, growing, and leading a smaller team of sales professionals. Use a consultative approach to set appointments with business owners over the phone, face-to-face, through your network, and via referral partnerships you build for Payroll/ HCM. Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland solutions to close sales in target verticals such as restaurants, retail, medical, manufacturing, lodging, auto repair, salons, and more. During training and ramp-up, the Division Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using Atlas, the tablet-based CRM for lead generation, presentations, value analysis, and paperless contract processing. Collaborate with Relationship Managers to coach and develop your team to achieve sales goals. Maintain a flexible work schedule, working primarily from a home office, with the opportunity to earn residuals on the business you bring in. Recruit, hire, and grow your sales team as part of your responsibilities. Compensation is based on performance, with aggressive weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership as targets are met and exceeded. Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older Valid driver's license (regular driving to visit client sites) Background check conducted after a conditional offer of employment (as required by state law) Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment Live in area relative to job posting location Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time Essential Responsibilities
Crush sales presentations with enthusiasm and finesse Use Atlas CRM on your iPad or tablet to show clients why Heartland is the right choice Educate business owners and referral partners on Payroll/ HCM so they understand the offering and are eager to sign up Keep in touch with your Territory/Division Manager Train and coach sales reps under you to be successful Support sales reps in the field on all aspects of our proven sales playbook Scout for talent and interview like a Hollywood casting director Other Responsibilities
Network locally to find sales reps that fit our team Be an effective prospector with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills Work independently and as part of a team with a collaborative mindset Maintain a performance-driven hunter approach Keep a professional demeanor and integrity with a high sense of urgency Thrive on cold-calling and face-to-face conversations Close sales with a proven track record of pipeline development Pass background checks and maintain a valid drivers license and auto insurance Participation in business or merchant associations or networking groups is a plus Bilingual skills are a plus This is a work-from-home field sales leadership opportunity; you can sell wherever business takes you (bring your iPad and Atlas) Career Path

A first-year professional may expect an average of $90,000 - $105,000+ for top quartile performance with uncapped weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio equity.
