Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

IT Tester

to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting software testing activities to ensure high-quality delivery of IT systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies, and a proactive approach to identifying issues and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across a variety of platforms and applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and resolve defects. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing as necessary. Provide clear documentation of testing activities, test results, and overall quality metrics. Recommend process improvements to enhance software quality and efficiency. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, TestComplete, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Skills:

Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus. Experience testing APIs, web applications, mobile apps, or enterprise software. ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus. Contract Details:
