Overview

We are seeking an experienced

IT Systems Administrator

to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, end-user systems, and business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support both technical teams and business users. Responsibilities User & Endpoint Management Provision and configure laptops/desktops for new hires (Windows & Mac). Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365. Provide tier 23 support for escalated end-user issues.

Systems & Applications Administration

Administer Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune). Support and maintain collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other business applications. Perform regular updates, patching, and upgrades for critical systems. Monitor system performance, uptime, and security.

Network & Security Support

Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting (VPN, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi). Enforce security best practices, including endpoint protection and data loss prevention. Support identity and access management policies (MFA, SSO).

Operational Excellence

Maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles. Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks through scripting or system tools. Participate in on-call rotations or after-hours maintenance as required.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD administration. Experience supporting SaaS business applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements (ISO, SOC, GDPR preferred).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
