Job Description: Data Analyst II (Data Integrity & Metrics Analyst) Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of GRC platform record sets to identify duplicates, gaps, or inconsistencies.
- Perform cross-system data comparisons between the GRC platform, applications, and external systems (e.g., HSDW, CyberScope) to ensure compliance reporting alignment.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for FISMA CIO metrics, GRC platform health, and POA&M status updates.
- Support data validation and cleanup projects during OpDiv onboarding or use case enhancements.
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and federal stakeholders to interpret data needs and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Assist in defining business rules and logic for data mapping, reporting fields, and export templates.
- Use SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Archer-native reporting tools to design and deliver metrics reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data used in FISMA audits, ATO reviews, and senior leadership briefings.
- Maintain documentation of data integrity processes, reporting logic, and validation checklists.
- Investigate complex calculated fields, iViews, dashboards, and advanced reports to determine corrective actions.
- Perform basic API diagnostics and support GRC data integrations for pre-defined feeds (e.g., HSDW, EANow, Active Directory).
- Use ServiceNow or equivalent systems to track data-related issues and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, including 2 years with RSA Archer or equivalent GRC platform.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and GRC-native reporting tools.
- Familiarity with FISMA, OMB, and federal compliance reporting requirements.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Data+, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently across teams.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system for tracking and resolving data-related issues.
- Understanding of HHS system inventory, POA&M standards, and OSCAL-based reporting structures.
