Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our team and ensure our Salesforce environment is optimized, scalable, and effectively adopted across the business. The successful candidate will combine strong Salesforce expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, serving as both a trusted system steward and a key driver of user adoption. This role requires resilience in managing user requests, ensuring adherence to governance and best practices while promoting effective and confident use of Salesforce.
(Role Location)
This position will be based in our Herndon. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the office for the remaining days of the week.
Key Responsibilities Act as the primary administrator of Salesforce, managing configuration, user management, profiles, roles, and permissions. Maintain data quality through validation rules, duplicate management, and regular data audits. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate requests, and recommend best-practice solutions aligned with governance and system design. Demonstrate resilience when managing user demands, ensuring solutions remain aligned with governance, design standards, and business objectives. Build and maintain automation using Flows, approval processes, and other declarative tools to streamline business processes. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support business decision-making. Be a champion for adoption: promote effective use of Salesforce across teams, encourage adoption of new features, and drive user confidence in the system. Deliver user training, onboarding, and upskilling programs to ensure employees maximize the value of Salesforce and related tools. Support integrations with other systems, working closely with developers and integration partners as needed. Administer and support Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, pricing rules, quoting, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth Lead-to-Order processes. Monitor Salesforce releases and emerging features, recommending relevant functionality for adoption. Support testing, change management, and deployment processes, ensuring smooth and controlled system updates. Ensure system security, compliance, and governance are upheld across the platform. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Certified Salesforce Administrator. 3+ years Salesforce administration experience in a multi-cloud environment Proven ability to manage user requests with professionalism and resilience while adhering to governance and best practices. Hands-on experience with declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and automation. Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, roles, and permissions. Experience developing effective reports and dashboards tailored to business needs. Strong communication and presentation skills, able to train, guide, and influence users at all levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality. Desired Qualifications
Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification. Salesforce AI Associate and AI Specialist certifications. Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification. Experience in user adoption, change management, and enablement programs. Familiarity with Salesforce AI features, including AgentForce, and ability to coach users on practical use cases. Experience supporting integrations with ERP, billing, or marketing automation platforms. Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps processes (sandboxes, deployments, testing). Experience creating learning materials, user guides, and leading workshops. Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or related field. Strong interpersonal skills: approachable, resilient, and able to influence stakeholders effectively.
