Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the team and help deliver high-end functionality that supports our revenue systems environment and integrations. The successful candidate will have strong Salesforce experience across a variety of products including, but not limited to, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, MuleSoft, and AI/AgentForce. Prior experience in managing large data volumes, engaging various stakeholders and teams, as well as working in an Agile approach to software development is favorable.

This position will be based in our Herndon. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the office for the remaining days of the week.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to conceptualize and develop requirements that align business processes, optimize system functionality, and ensure data accuracy. Responsible for managing integrations including design, development, and maintenance of MuleSoft. Develop scalable solutions within Salesforce, including both declarative (Flows, automation) and custom development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components). Maintain and continuously improve the Lead-to-Order process enabled with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, and related applications. Support the verification, automated testing, and deployment of new and existing functionality before release to end users. Implement process improvements, automation, and AI-driven enhancements to support and optimize business processes. Adhere to Salesforce DevOps best practices (source control, CI/CD, sandbox strategy). Ensure security, scalability, and compliance best practices are followed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

5+ years of overall Salesforce experience. 2+ years Salesforce development experience, including Apex triggers, synchronous and asynchronous Apex classes, test classes, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (Developer II a plus). 2+ years Salesforce CPQ experience. Proven experience with MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform. Strong knowledge of APIs and understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML. Demonstrated ability to choose the best-fit solution (declarative vs code) for a given requirement. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with Salesforce AI features, particularly AgentForce, and ability to leverage AI within the platform. Desired Qualifications

Salesforce AI Associate and/or AI Specialist certification. Experience with Salesforce integrations with billing and ERP systems. Experience with Agile methodology. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Experience developing advanced Flows and orchestrations. Experience building rich user experiences with custom Lightning Web Components. Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Design System, SOQL & SOSL, and the Salesforce data model. Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools Experience with large data volumes, data migration, and performance optimization.
