Description of Work This position will be responsible for preparing and storing food for consumption by residents of the facility in accordance with sanitation standards. This is technician level work in the kitchen. This position may act as lead worker in group food preparation or may work independently under the supervision of a shift supervisor.

Normal working hours are 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.

About the Longleaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center Longleaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC) is a certified Medicare and Medicaid facility nursing home that provides a continuum of care to both adults with severe and persistent mental illness that also have long-term medical conditions requiring residential, medical and nursing care, and to adults with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or other related dementia. LNMTC facilitates high quality skilled and intermediate nursing care throughout five Nursing Unit Floors that operates 24 hours seven days a week, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Education and/or experience in food preparation that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade equivalent to one year of experience in a commercial and/or institutional setting.
