Take on a new challenge and apply your Human Resources expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates. Youll shape and deploy business goals, drive organizational effectiveness, and build strong teams across the Value Chain. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Business Leaders), support leadership development initiatives, and much more. Well look to you for: Supporting your customers in the New Haven, CT area to shape and deploy business goals, and implementing the site People Plan, including Organizational Capabilities, Talent Management, Labor and Employee Relations, Leadership Development, and Building Strong Teams across the Value Chain. Analyzing organizational capabilities to support business strategy and identifying gaps. Supporting change programs, organizational effectiveness, development, and fostering a high-performance culture. Ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time by coaching leaders, supporting talent reviews, and mobilizing high potentials. Supporting talent reviews, competency assessments, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. Leading the onboarding process for new site employees, especially for new contracts or customers. Administering FLSA testing and reviewing qualifications with job descriptions for all positions. You dont need to have every skill listed, but these will help you succeed: A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Experience or understanding of resolving complex employee relations issues and labor relations activities, including grievance handling and communication with union representatives. Knowledge of HR strategies, People Management, and experience in a unionized environment. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, and Railway Labor Act (asset). Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Ability to analyze organizational capabilities and identify gaps. Skills in coaching leaders, conducting talent reviews, and succession planning. Experience in leadership development and fostering high-performance cultures. Things youll enjoy
