Job Overview

The Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition is responsible for assisting with all facets of recruitment success throughout Fort Bend ISD.While providing an exceptional experience, the Sr. Consultant will play a critical role in the development of a strategic recruiting plan which employs both traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. The Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing services directly related to analyzing talent needs. While providing an exceptional experience, the Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition will assist with evaluating needs of the district through knowledge, benchmarking, and best practices. In addition, the incumbent will collaborate with hiring managers to proactively identify future hiring needs and recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing Strategy

Develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies aligned with District goals. Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate staffing needs, trends, and workforce requirements. Review turnover and staffing data to support retention initiatives and workforce planning. Talent Sourcing, Staffing & Selection

Identify and source qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing needs. Partner with hiring managers to design targeted sourcing and staffing strategies. Coordinate and participate in candidate intake, screening, interviewing, and staffing placement to ensure high-quality hires. Candidate Experience & Staffing Collaboration

Provide recruitment and staffing guidance, supported by data-driven insights, to hiring managers. Support district-wide recruitment and staffing efforts while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. Articulate and promote the Fort Bend ISD employee and staffing experience throughout the hiring process. Staffing Compliance, Data & Continuous Improvement

Track and analyze key staffing metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity, retention) to improve recruitment strategies. Ensure recruitment and staffing practices comply with federal, state, and District policies (EEOC, Title IX, HB3, etc.). Standardize staffing processes and create reports/dashboards to inform HR leadership and campus leaders. Employer Branding & Staffing Partnerships

Strengthen FBISD's reputation as an employer of choice through recruitment branding and staffing marketing efforts. Lead outreach by attending job fairs, managing social media strategies, and developing staffing pipelines. Build partnerships with universities, agencies, and certification programs to expand staffing pools. Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field Master's degree preferred Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM) Certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated HR leadership in a public school district, preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of human resources information management systems, including the ability to utilize databases to design and generate statistical and informational reports Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public and district staff and management Knowledge of the District's human resources policies, procedures and practices Good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Ability to supervise and guide the work of others Ability to be flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Attendance at conferences and professional development is required. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.
