Job Description:

Position requires the preparation and service of food and beverages.

Requires the use and operation of food service/kitchen equipment and appliances.

Operate point-of-sale system and follow all cashiering guidelines.

Must follow and adhere to sanitation and cleaning practices, guidelines, and requirements.

Assist in any other areas, as requested by management.

Perform duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.

Hold a valid NYS Driver's License approved through the LENS program

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional kitchen environment with many types of equipment, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully and safely perform the essential functions of this job.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds

May be required to be on feet for duration of shift

May be required to sit for duration of shift Carriage House Catering

Some bending and stretching may be required to place items on low and high shelves

Possible exposure to extreme temperatures, slippery floors, and high humidity Work with some chemical cleaning agents

The employee is frequently required to: stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, communicate/give and receive information effectively.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Certifications ServSafe, AllerTrain, AllerTrain Lite, TIPS

Additional Information:

Full-time, $17.80/hour for 32 weeks per year. Coincides with Academic calendar.

*Night Differential $.75/hr. after 7:00 pm Mon -Fri., and for all hours on Sat. and Sun.

*THE NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION.
