About the Opportunity

The primary objective of this role is to drive student success through daily support, ongoing evolution, and optimization of the ERP system (technical and functional) at the college or university. This position involves managing staff, collaborating with leadership, and ensuring quality and efficiency in all aspects of ERP operations.

Core Responsibilities Analyze a customer's business requirements and objectives, working with them to meet those objectives. Implement and configure ERP applications and modules. Analyze client business processes and collect all relevant data for implementation. Conduct on-site and/or remote implementation of web-based ERP applications. Train end users in specific modules of the ERP application. Prepare project documentation associated with implementation, such as manuals, customer query data, issue logs, and their resolution. Assist customers with application testing and rollout. Recommend business process improvements to the customer. Analyze and specify application enhancements with the customer. Work with the customer and other internal organizations to quickly resolve issues impeding implementation or go-live. Provide strong leadership and management of IT staff, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work. Meet regularly with staff to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain standards. Act as a strong leader with excellent customer relationship skills to support modernization efforts. Consult with management to define project goals, timelines, resources, and procedures. Manage projects using strong project management skills, prioritize tasks, and provide regular updates. Develop and optimize change management, communication planning, testing procedures, and documentation. Provide technical support and system configuration guidance to administrative users. Support staff in identifying, evaluating, and maintaining system solutions. Deliver systems analysis, problem-solving, and programming support to enhance system efficiency. Implement quality assurance methodologies for change and problem management. Evaluate third-party software/hardware for compatibility and usefulness. Assess IT projects for hardware adequacy and recommend new purchases. Plan and manage data storage and archival operations. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

Experience with the Ellucian Colleague ERP. Experience with Colleague SaaS integration methodology. Expertise in MS SQL, T-SQL, and/or other data-related reporting tools. Experience with enterprise reporting tools. Proven ability to lead support groups, college departments, and committees. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience

Additional certifications or training in ERP systems. Experience in higher education environments. Proficiency in additional programming languages.
