Job Location: Springfield, MA Position Type: Full Time Education: Bachelor's Degree Salary Range: $77,374.00 - $80,174.00 Responsibilities
Collaborate with Finance, HR, Enrollment Services, Academic departments, Student Success and other users to determine requirements that require application solutions. Investigate configuration changes that add to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations processes. Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, ensure data accuracy and provide interpretation and analysis for business operations teams. Work with users to ensure upgrades/patches are tested and performed in a timely manner. Effectively utilize application reporting tools used at Western New England University. Recommend and socialize best practices, standards, and policies for high quality enterprise applications. Develop and maintain documentation of application and process flows and configuration changes that ensure reporting deliverables. Support operational special data analysis to identify, test and correct data within applications or cleansing for implementation. Support high quality application-level security in alignment with agreed governance. Collaborate and provide input to new technology capabilities that will have an impact on the enterprise-wide efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience. Deep hands-on expertise in Ellucian Colleague (current Western New England University SIS/ERP) required. Must have expert knowledge of Western New England University's SIS/ERP solution and be able to troubleshoot and recommend configuration changes. Minimum 4 years of application support required. Knowledge of Ellucian Database Schemas preferred. Working knowledge with SQL programming preferred. Strong data analysis skills. Working knowledge of project management and process structure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to resolve problems effectively, efficiently, as a team member and/or independently. Highly organized and detail-focused, with multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work in situations requiring complex analysis. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and provide well-vetted process and application recommendations while working independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to communicate and work effectively, both verbally and in writing, and document key process/system flow, configuration implications, testing results and incident resolution. Ability to travel as needed to participate in professional meetings, conferences, and events (minimal) with the flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as necessary. Ensure compliance with professional and technology standards, license and regulatory requirements, and Western New England University standards, policies, and procedures. Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
