A dynamic and growing law firm in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to client advocacy and achieving meaningful outcomes. Location

Duties

Analyze evidence, including medical records and investigative findings, and consult with field experts. Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information. Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop case strategies, reviewing plaintiff and defense positions. Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management meetings. Resolve cases through mediation, arbitration, and trial to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance. Participate in marketing initiatives, including podcasts, blogs, and advertising campaigns. Requirements

Active member of the North Carolina Bar Association. Five or more years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred. Proficiency in legal writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Experience with Needles Neos Case Management Software is a plus. Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications

Admission to the North Carolina Bar. Skills

Strong litigation experience, especially in personal injury matters. Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Strong communication and public speaking abilities. Problem-solving and decision-making expertise. Ability to manage cases efficiently and work collaboratively. Familiarity with legal case management software like Needles Neos.
