An established investment management platform is expanding its fund finance team due to the launch of multiple new non-traded fund products. This is a high-impact opportunity for a fund accounting or reporting professional with strong technical skills and a passion for continuous process improvement. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Annual Bonus
Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid Schedule (3 days in office)
Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000 base + 15% bonus
Experience Required: 4+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements (Form 10-Q/K)
- Manage internal and external reviews for SEC filings, investor reports, and proxy materials
- Guide a team of accountants while coaching and developing talent
- Support shareholder meetings, board reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee quarterly controls (SOX 404), audits, and coordination with external advisors
- Interpret and document complex US GAAP and industry-specific accounting issues
- Collaborate with departments across Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and Legal
- Partner with third-party transfer agents and external service providers
- Identify automation and process efficiency improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting
- Background in public accounting (Big 4 or similar) is highly desired
- Familiarity with GL and reporting systems
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a team
- Detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator and collaborator across departments
