An established investment management platform is expanding its fund finance team due to the launch of multiple new non-traded fund products. This is a high-impact opportunity for a fund accounting or reporting professional with strong technical skills and a passion for continuous process improvement. This role offers direct exposure to SEC reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership. $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid Schedule (3 days in office) Compensation:
$120,000 – $130,000 base + 15% bonus Experience Required:
4+ years Key Responsibilities
Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements (Form 10-Q/K) Manage internal and external reviews for SEC filings, investor reports, and proxy materials Guide a team of accountants while coaching and developing talent Support shareholder meetings, board reporting, and regulatory compliance Oversee quarterly controls (SOX 404), audits, and coordination with external advisors Interpret and document complex US GAAP and industry-specific accounting issues Collaborate with departments across Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and Legal Partner with third-party transfer agents and external service providers Identify automation and process efficiency improvements Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting Background in public accounting (Big 4 or similar) is highly desired Familiarity with GL and reporting systems Proven experience managing or mentoring a team Detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Strong communicator and collaborator across departments Why You’ll Want to Work Here
