Electrical Engineer — Newport Beach, CA. Full-Time | MEP Consulting Firm. We’re a dynamic and consistently growing MEP consulting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering design services. Our team blends over 40 years of industry expertise with cutting-edge technology, delivering innovative, sustainable building solutions across a wide range of project types.

What You’ll Do

• Design electrical systems for a wide range of building types.
• Develop power distribution layouts, panel schedules, and lighting systems.
• Perform load calculations and generate single-line diagrams.
• Conduct interior/exterior lighting design and photometric studies.
• Design emergency power and lighting systems.
• Provide power and wiring coordination for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Plan conduit infrastructure for data/comm/TV/security systems.
• Size electrical services, switchboards, and panelboards.
• Coordinate with plan reviewers and secure permits.
• Attend coordination meetings and perform site visits.
• Support construction administration: respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Conduct field site visits as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented.
• Collaborative mindset and client-first approach.
• 3–5 years of experience in building electrical design (MEP).
• Note: Academic coursework will NOT be considered as experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; REVIT preferred.
