Forklift Operator
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating various types of forklifts such as the Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck. You will be handling materials in a fast-paced food manufacturing warehouse environment, with responsibilities including shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and cycle counting.
Responsibilities
Operate stand up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment. Handle material movement in and out of freezer storage areas efficiently. Participate in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks. Conduct inventory management and cycle counting using RF scanners. Maintain GMP standards within the food manufacturing warehouse.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating stand up forklifts and reach trucks. Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competency in material handling and picking processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in freezer environments. Capability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly moving production environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large facility with over 400 employees operating over two shifts. The role involves working primarily in a freezer environment, with a structured schedule of 8am-5:30pm. Forklift operators receive a 10-minute break every hour away from the freezer area, ensuring comfort and efficiency in their tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
