Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Profession: Allied Health
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating (6am - 4:30pm or 9am - 7:30pm)
Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (CI)
Must-Have: Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, Electrophysiology procedures, and EP recording systems
Description:
The position involves working in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Candidates will be responsible for scrubbing and documenting cases.
Duties include stocking rooms, assisting physicians with electrophysiology procedures, and monitoring cases.
Experience with specific equipment and procedures is required, including Impella, IABP, and device work.
The candidate must be able to use an electrophysiology recording system.
On-call hours are from 4:30pm to 6am, with weekend and holiday call requirements.
The dress code consists of OR scrubs, provided daily.
Previous traveling candidates must have been away from the position for two years before reapplying.
Floating requirements are limited to working in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology areas.
