Senior Associate – Corporate Accounting & Reporting
Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their team in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role focuses on accounting, analytics, and reporting, with an emphasis on corporate entity structures. You will work closely with both the investment accounting and corporate accounting teams. This collaboration provides exposure to complex financial operations. The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office. It offers a strong path for professional development and long-term career growth in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
Own the accounting for corporate entities, from transaction initiation to reporting (both internal and external).
Prepare analytical reviews for owned entities and present findings to senior finance management.
Prepare quarterly general ledger reconciliations to underlying subledgers and source systems.
Own consolidation adjustments, allocated footnotes, and disclosures in consolidated audited financial statements.
Complete and assist with audit-related work papers for interim and annual audits and address follow-up inquiries.
Prepare analysis to support annual tax filings, working with external tax advisors to meet reporting deadlines.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested and communicate results to senior management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
CPA preferred.
4-8 years of accounting experience within public accounting (preferred) or in a complex corporate environment.
Experience with finance accounting systems (PeopleSoft / Oracle preferred) with strong IT systems aptitude.
