Head of OEM Partnerships - Remote | California - Navigation Tech A high-growth defence technology company is seeking a senior strategic hire to lead OEM and platform partnerships across the aerospace sector. This role will own commercial relationships with airframe manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and prime contractors, embedding advanced autonomy and navigation technologies into the next generation of aerial platforms. This is a rare opportunity to lead both strategic and transactional efforts at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for OEM and platform partnerships Identify, engage, and negotiate long-term partnerships with airframe and systems manufacturers Lead the full partnership lifecycle from pilot engagements to full commercial rollout Collaborate with product and engineering to translate partner feedback into development priorities Structure complex commercial agreements, including licensing and joint development Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and with technical or executive stakeholders Key Requirements
10+ years in business development, partnerships, or programme leadership in aerospace, defence, or autonomy Proven track record building relationships with primes, OEMs, or Tier 1 suppliers Experience negotiating complex technical-commercial deals (hardware/software mix ideal) Strong technical aptitude in systems such as avionics, ISR, navigation, or autonomy Experience in a start-up environment Confident engaging with C-suite and engineering leadership US-based, with willingness to travel regularly How to Apply
