We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to support our end-to-end battery cell supply chain development for all Tesla products. This role will report to our Supply Chain Group Manager and in parallel be an active sourcing resource supporting our various Engineering groups within Tesla. The Battery Cell SCM plays a pivotal role in shaping Tesla's future product roadmap, battery cell sourcing, and overall supply chain strategy. This position demands high engagement in battery design and manufacturing processes to make decisions aligned with Tesla's best interests. Tesla is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. The successful candidate will be a self-starter; motivated with overall strategic sourcing expertise. What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy for battery cells encompassing the full product lifecycle (cost analysis, contract negotiations, line ramp-ups, daily supply management, risk mitigation, and program sunsetting) Analyze supplier proposals and line up roadmaps to match Tesla future developments, working with engineering to evaluate product tradeoffs (cost, performance, timelines) Lead cost analysis, drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations, evaluate supplier core competencies, and competitive positioning using should cost models Drive supplier performance, prioritizing continuity of supply with factory teams What You'll Bring

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent experience 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or battery engineering Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes and a keen interest in the battery cell processes Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills Ability to operate in a fast-changing environment while handling diverse responsibilities Benefits

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
