Director of Learning . This leadership position is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining training programs that elevate guest service standards, align with brand culture, and meet Forbes Travel Guide benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and oversee comprehensive training programs for all resort departments, with a strong focus on
Forbes Travel Guide service standards
and luxury hospitality best practices.
Partner with department heads to assess training needs and develop tailored programs that address operational objectives, guest satisfaction goals, and service consistency.
Establish and document
SOPs, training manuals, and process guidelines
to ensure uniformity across all guest touchpoints.
Conduct regular service audits and training refreshers to maintain brand and Forbes compliance.
Coach and mentor leaders to embed a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.
Oversee onboarding programs that immerse new hires into the resort’s brand ethos, service philosophy, and operational processes.
Leverage feedback, performance metrics, and guest satisfaction surveys to adapt training initiatives for maximum impact.
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of leadership experience
in training and development within a
luxury hotel or resort
environment.
Proven expertise in
Forbes Travel Guide service training
and delivery.
Strong background in process creation, documentation, and implementation for operational consistency.
Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
