Oracle Services-Oracle Applications Technical Consultant - Manager Location: Anywhere in Country Base pay range: $142,600.00/yr - $261,500.00/yr EY’s Oracle Services practice assists in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle application implementations within Oracle’s applications and technology space. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Your Role
As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will be at the forefront of defining user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across diverse platforms. You\'ll play a pivotal role in engineering software components and services that ensure seamless communication within the system architecture. Responsibilities
Ensuring billability through chargeable work to external clients. Leading workstream delivery with strategic oversight. Managing project status and overseeing deliverable completion. Traveling as required by client engagements. Actively participating in client sessions and leading workstreams from planning to execution. Identifying additional service opportunities to drive sales. Leading specific RFP responses and managing engagement economics. Executing resource planning within budget constraints. Skills and Attributes For Success
Team with client technology professionals and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions. Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by monitoring project/program team economics, performance against budget, and adjusting scope, timing, and resources as needed. Architect technology solutions focusing on data flow, data migration and data integration for supply chain processes across multi-vendor landscapes. Develop people by encouraging responsibility, delegating work, and providing performance feedback and training. Generate new business opportunities by understanding EY and its service lines and applying knowledge to client needs. Develop long-term relationships and networks internally and externally. Supervise a team through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, conversion and testing. Interact with supply chain and technology executives; apply Agile methodologies; ensure integration and quality assurance. Proficiency in software development and technology business requirements analysis; strong communication and negotiation skills; digital fluency. Qualifications
4-year bachelor\'s degree required; 4-6 years of relevant experience. 4-6 years of SCM/ERP implementation experience as a Technical Lead or related role; at least 2 years in managerial/IT-business integration. 2-3 full cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3-4 Oracle EBS modules (Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, PIM, Procurement, Manufacturing). 2-3 years hands-on with FBDI, OTBI, REST and SOAP. Proven experience with integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or similar platform. Demonstrated use of Oracle methodologies (OUM or AIM). Strong written and verbal communication, client service and technical writing skills; interest in integrating business processes with technology. Willingness to travel 60-80% of schedule. Ideally, a degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or related field; MBA or MS preferred. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities; excellent communication and leadership skills.
