Backed by strong growth and strategic acquisitions, the company is rapidly expanding its national footprint and is seeking a Director of Human Resources to support this next stage of growth. Your Impact As Director of Human Resources, you will lead HR strategy and operations across both corporate functions and acquired facilities. You’ll play a key role in M&A due diligence and integration, ensuring smooth transitions for newly acquired sites while building a strong, aligned, and engaged workforce.
Lead HR efforts during acquisitions, including due diligence, onboarding, and post-acquisition integration
Develop and implement HR integration plans (benefits, policies, and culture alignment)
Build trusted relationships with both corporate staff and plant-level employees
Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment regulations
Support workforce management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development
Oversee HR policies, handbooks, training, benefits, compensation, and performance management systems
Serve as a cultural ambassador across the organization
About You
5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with strong focus on M&A and multi-state operations
Proven ability to partner effectively with executives, investors, legal teams, plant managers, and hourly staff
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to foster trust at all levels
Skilled in project management, organizational design, and talent development
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, distributed environment
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
