Supports communication of the availability of material to regional work managers, job owners, project managers and follows up on material issues as they arise within the workweek schedules. Assists and supports the material and logistic functions and synchronizing these functions with the business unit requirements and in implementing emergent/emergency requests. Identifies and resolves internal and external issues. Analyzes, interprets, and reports future requirements to the Supply network. Supports communication of any future material requirements to the appropriate commodity owner and supplier. Identifies and resolves any material issues with suppliers and/or Procurement Specialists. Primary Duties
Supports and assists the coordination of activities in support of the material and logistics process. Assists in ensuring that requirements for planned and emergent work, from planning to execution, as well as the supply organization are met. Resolves material request issues through coordination with job owners and work management to make material available for the required need date. Interfaces with suppliers to ensure availability and prompt delivery of material required per the work management schedule. Coordinates activities in analyzing and interpreting future material trends with operations, engineering and suppliers to project anticipated material usage. Reports monthly performance indicators and develops corrective actions where appropriate. Makes decisions on material availability related to planned jobs. Ensures commodity purchasing is performed for Work Management commitments by placing orders for coded and non-coded items, negotiating with Purchasing Associates and suppliers for releases against purchase orders, creating purchase orders and utilizing PCards. Supports the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned. Job Scope
Coordinates all material demands and information needs for a diverse client base. Manages material availability and logistic support across departments and suppliers to synchronize shared tasks. Demonstrates solid communication with all levels of management across regions, business units, transportation, storerooms, warehouse and suppliers. Represents clients' needs to the supply team, explains expectations, evaluates responses and determines alternative sourcing strategy as necessary. Serves as liaison between the region, supply and Engineering Services for material obsolescence, unavailability or replacement. Exercising independent judgment to meet schedule demands. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 2-4 years' experience or High School diploma or equivalent with 3-6 years of experience. PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Passport, Hyperion). Preferred Qualifications
Data analysis experience Knowledge of Passport and PIMS systems Knowledge of the Supply Chain process Benefits
Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $60,000.00/Yr. – $82,500.00/Yr.
