Primary Purpose Supports communication of the availability of material to regional work managers, job owners, project managers and follows up on material issues as they arise within the workweek schedules. Assists and supports the material and logistic functions, coordinating with the business unit requirements and in implementing emergent/emergency requests. Identifies and resolves internal and external issues. Analyzes, interprets, and reports future requirements to the Supply network. Supports communication of any future material requirements to the appropriate commodity owner and supplier. Identifies and resolves material issues with suppliers or Procurement Specialists.
Primary Duties
Supports and assists the coordination of activities in support of the material and logistics process. Ensures that requirements for planned and emergent work are met from planning to execution and by the supply organization.
Resolve material request issues through coordination with job owners and work management to make material available for the required need date.
Interface with suppliers to ensure availability and prompt delivery of material required per the work management schedule.
Coordinate activities in analyzing and interpreting future material trends with operations, engineering and suppliers to project anticipated material usage.
Report monthly performance indicators and develop corrective actions where appropriate.
Make decisions on material availability related to planned jobs.
Ensure commodity purchasing is performed for Work Management commitments by placing orders for coded and non-coded items, negotiating with Purchasing Associates and suppliers for releases against purchase orders, creating purchase orders and utilizing PCards.
Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned.
Job Scope
Coordinate all material demands and information needs for a diverse client base.
Manage material availability and logistic support across departments and suppliers to synchronize shared tasks.
Demonstrate solid communication with all levels of management across regions, business units, transportation, storerooms, warehouses and suppliers.
Represent the clients\' needs to the supply team, explain expectations, evaluate responses and determine alternative sourcing strategy as necessary.
Serve as liaison between the region, supply and Engineering Services for material obsolescence, unavailability or material replacement.
Exercise independent judgment to meet schedule demands.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 2-4 years' experience or High School diploma or equivalent with 3-6 years of experience.
PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion).
Preferred Qualifications
Data analysis experience
Knowledge of PassPort and PIMS systems
Knowledge of the Supply Chain process

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $60,000.00/Yr. – $82,500.00/Yr.
