Labor & Employment Counsel/Non-Equity Partner

We are partnering with a mid-sized law firm with a strong national presence in search of a Counsel or Non-Equity Partner to join its Labor & Employment Department in New York City. This is an opportunity for an experienced attorney (8+ years) who seeks direct client engagement, autonomy, and a clear path to equity partnership.
Role Highlights
Represent employers in arbitrations, collective bargaining, mediations, agency proceedings (NLRB, EEOC), and litigation.
Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and compliance documentation.
Deliver trainings and webinars on labor-management relations and emerging employment trends.
Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on workplace matters, helping to shape proactive solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a labor & employment attorney in a law firm.
Extensive experience in management-side labor and employment law, with a focus on union-related matters and employment litigation.
Strong writing, advocacy, and client counseling skills.
A desire to take ownership of your work in a collaborative, respectful environment.
Admission to the New York Bar required.
