Key Responsibilities
Lead product development efforts from concept generation through manufacturing transfer Design and evaluate catheter-based systems using advanced SolidWorks modeling techniques Conduct in-vitro and in-vivo testing, including fixture design and protocol development Create and maintain design control documentation, including specifications and risk analyses Develop and document manufacturing processes, incorporating DFM/DFA and Design for Metrology principles Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-driven team culture Break down complex engineering challenges into actionable components and deliver with minimal oversight Participate in technical and process improvement initiatives across the organization Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in medical device design and development Proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering drawing standards, including GD&T and tolerance analysis Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA Design Controls Experience with catheter-based systems and hands-on prototyping Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related engineering field Specialized technical depth in materials science, metrology, or interventional device design Experience mentoring junior engineers and presenting to internal and external stakeholders Seniority level
