Lead Catheter Design Engineer
to lead the development of high-voltage, energy-delivery catheters used for non-thermal tissue ablation. This hands-on role involves taking devices from concept through commercialization in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities
Design and develop energy-delivery catheters using extrusion, braiding, lamination, and other advanced techniques Build and test prototypes, analyze performance data, and iterate designs Drive design controls and documentation (FMEAs, DHFs, design reviews, V&V) Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and external partners to ensure scalable production Support bench, in-vivo, and clinical testing Qualifications
BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field 10+ years of medical device development experience; 5+ years in catheter design Experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, and common catheter manufacturing methods Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and energy-based therapies preferred Startup experience a plus Seniority level
