The Solutions Engineering team empathizes with customers to discern their true technical needs and presents solutions that target those needs. The Auth0 Solution Engineering Manager Opportunity Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering for Enterprise Accounts, this role will lead a team of customer-identity focused Solution Engineers, working with Okta’s Enterprise customers across U.S., Canada and LatAm. The leader translates future possibilities into breakthrough strategies, is results focused, and partners with Sales leadership to achieve growth targets. What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers; manage professional growth through development plans and experiences. Own and report on the business impact of the team as they engage with prospects evaluating the Auth0 identity platform; activities include demonstrations, technical deep dives, trials and POVs. Actively contribute to deals by proposing strategies and providing on-site deal support as needed. Collaborate with the broader presales teams and business units to promote a cohesive, high-performing team culture. Recruit, ramp and mentor a diverse team of Solutions Engineers. What You’ll Bring To The Role

Proven success selling to large organizations; ability to influence technical decision makers and executives; experience with MEDDPICC and Value/Outcome based selling. A vision for Okta’s market opportunity and how customers will leverage Okta solutions to drive business outcomes. 5+ years of Pre-sales Management experience with supervisory responsibilities. Bachelors of Science in engineering, science or mathematics or equivalent experience. And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following Expertise in security product market trends and knowledge of Okta’s roadmap and technology development efforts. Competency with customer identity and access management concepts and solutions. Compensation and Benefits

The OTE ranges vary by location and are inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation. For California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the annual OTE range is between $236,000—$354,000 USD; for the San Francisco Bay area, the range is between $264,000—$396,000 USD. Okta offers equity where applicable and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), FSA, and paid leave in accordance with applicable plans and policies.
