Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to both wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about our products, and recommending the best solutions to enhance their experience. You will also be responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly and maintaining high standards of product quality and store presentation. As a Customer Service Specialist, your key duties will involve: Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Assisting customers in person and over the phone, accurately identifying their needs and presenting suitable products and services. Building strong trust-based relationships with customers. Processing sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures. Aiming to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse and tinting/mixing products as needed. Ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are set up effectively. Maintaining store equipment cleanliness and assisting with loading/unloading delivery trucks. Keeping assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition. Staying up-to-date with product knowledge to provide informed recommendations. Adhering to inventory control procedures and suggesting improvements to enhance sales. Your work location will be at: 111 E Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY 11501, and you will be expected to work at stores within a 10-mile radius. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship. Must be proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in both English and Spanish. Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience selling paint and paint-related products is a plus. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
