Overview
Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory. Senior Managers will work closely with C-level management of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies. CFGI Senior Managers lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, developing and managing client relationships, and business development. Responsibilities
Lead project teams and interact with clients and auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, client relationship management, and business development. Take ownership of client engagements from start to finish. Interact with clients’ executive teams and auditors, serving as a subject matter expert and guiding complex accounting issues to conclusions. Lead operational due diligence for complex transactions (e.g., IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises) and own client delivery. Drive deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (e.g., 10-Ks, 10-Qs, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination). Serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to new ASC accounting standards; lead process improvements and implementation of changes. Mentor managers and consultants, foster engagement team growth, provide constructive feedback, and model ethics and professionalism. Lead firm initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement; participate in recruiting, client relationships, and business development. Who you are
An undergraduate degree in Accounting – CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience; a degree in Accounting is preferred but equivalent qualifications will be considered. Eight plus years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance. Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively in teams. Strong technical skills with working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting. Proactive in identifying client needs and building strong client relationships. Highly organized with the ability to set engagement direction and expectations. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable; high energy and commitment to quality client service. Desire to continually enhance skills through training, contribute to firm materials, and expand firm knowledge base. Compensation and Employment Details
CFGI is dedicated to offering strong and inclusive total compensation packages. The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $185,000, depending on role, location, and the individual’s skills and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, CFGI offers a competitive benefits package and various bonus programs and incentives tied to performance. Seniority level
