Seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development professional to join our team, focusing on the Northern California region. This is a remote, field-based role, ideally suited for candidates located in or near the San Francisco Bay Area to allow for regular in-person client meetings, participation in local biotech events, and engagement with regional stakeholders. Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Candidates must be located in San Francisco, CA Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen client relationships while identifying and engaging new business opportunities. Present and promote our preclinical research services to prospective clients, showcasing the value we bring to their programs. Provide insights to the company on market trends, client needs, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities. Advocate for genetically engineered mouse models and their impact on advancing biomedical research. Represent the company's core values and uphold our reputation within the industry. Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in life sciences is required; advanced knowledge of preclinical mouse models is highly desirable. Experience in drug discovery, biopharma CRO services, or related fields required. 5+ years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors preferred. Background in in vivo pharmacology is a strong plus. Exceptional sales and relationship-building skills with a track record of driving results. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to overcome obstacles and build trust. Confident delivering business and scientific presentations with clarity and rigor. Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally (25% or more).
