Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
Perform pre/post trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submit DOT inspection reports.
Verify the bill of lading and store keys accurately for off-hour deliveries.
Drive the tractor-trailer to various destinations, demonstrating expertise in commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering.
Maintain a driver log in compliance with DOT regulations, recording delivery receipt and product conditions.
Unload the trailer and deliver products directly to customer premises.
Perform other related duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) is required.
Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating standards.
Capacity to read, write, and understand English effectively for job tasks, safety protocols, and communication.
